Great Find and Steeped in History
Lovely old smuggling Inn. Stayed overnight in the top room, wouldn’t recommend this room if you have mobility issues, but we were fine! Welcoming and helpful staff, lovely atmosphere and nice breakfast. Situated right in the middle of Rye so great for exploring. Great find and steeped in history
From Start to finish our meal at the Mermaid was a delight. We visited to celebrate my 60th Birthday. It defineltely made my birthday all the more special being treated well. The food was delicious and every mouthful was a pleasure to eat. We highly recommend eating here. The surroundings make it special. The staff couldn’t have done more to make our visit better. Spacing between the tables is really good.
